West University of Timisoara

West University of Timisoara was founded by Decree-Law no. 660 issued on December 30, 1944. The eleven faculties cover practically all main directions of study in science, economics, administration, humanities and arts.

Being a university with tradition and prestige, UVT currently hosts nearly 20,000 students, by offering 85 different Bachelor programs, 120 master programs, 10 doctoral programs. In May 2014 UVT has reached 70 years.
