West RDA represents the westernmost of the eight Romanian development regions and works for the overall development and promotion of the region, at the national and international level.
West RDA has the mission to contribute to the sustainable development and the prosperity of the West Region, by encouraging investments, through the permanent engagement in the process of industrial restructuring and job creation. ADR Vest is a non-governmental, nonprofit, public utility institution.
The Mission of West RDA is to become involved in the strategic programming of the region's economic and social development, in a partnership with the local players, to competently manage the programmes and projects funded from the structural funds allocated for the development of the region, to initiate programmes for the strategic promotion of the West Region, and to attract new resources with a beneficial influence on the community welfare.
The main goals of West RDA concern the management of the development funds allocated by the EU to the West Region, the strategic programming of the region's economic and social development in a partnership with the local players, promoting cooperation and the transfer of information and skills between the business, scientific, and technological environments in order to ensure the development of the region, the coordination of building inter-regional, intra-regional, and international partnerships, and making projects with a major impact on the region's development.
