Continental employs 1.000 people in Romania

Supplementation comes after the last year investment of 75 million Euro and 1.000 employees recruited, 30% engineers. „Over 1.000 new members will join the Continental team in 2012” declared Anica Stoica, human resources coordinator for Continental in Romania. Since 2000, the German Group has invested on the local market almost 575 million Euro in the three centers and seven research and development production units developed in Timisoara, Sibiu, Carei, Nadab, Brasov and Iasi.

Among the new contracts won by the Continental tire division is the one with Ford Romania, to supply tires for the new B-Max, whose production will officially begin in June, with a pace of 100.000 cars per year, respectively 500 cars per day.
