Innovative Cluster Day, 30-31 October 2012, Bucharest

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment - MECMA and the National Authority for Scientific Research - ANCS organizes during 30 - 31 October 2012 at Hotel Ramada Parc, Poligrafiei Street, No. 3-5, Bucharest, the International Conference "Innovative Cluster Days".

For two days, representatives of the European Commission, renowned international experts in the field of innovation and cluster policy and representatives of leading clusters in Austria, Sweden, France, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria will discuss topics of interest, such as :

• European Union Cluster Policy

• the role of clusters in regional economic development strategies in the context of "Smart Specialisation"

• strengthening the links between the economic environment and research considering the development of innovation activities in clusters

In addition to presentations of a high scientific content, the Conference has a strong practical orientation and will include:

• C2C brokerage sessions (cluster to cluster) you will get direct contact with representatives of the countries mentioned above;

• presentation of projects and ideas for the financial support dedicated to clusters during 2014-2020;

• presentation of tenders / requests for products and technologies like "cross cutting" (e.g: Electronics - textile or textile - wood, etc.) to strengthen the international cooperation of the clusters in our country.
