The Cluster Academy

During 20-22 April, 2010, the Automotivest Association invites you to participate in the Cluster Academy organized by Clusterland Upper Austria in Linz, Austria.

The three-day workshop provides detailed knowledge regarding the cluster management operations, covering such fields as knowledge management, initiation and support of cooperation, training, and event management projects, as well as of marketing and public relations and internationalization projects.

The Academy includes visits to the cluster's member companies (Softwarepark Hagenberg Rosenbauer International) for more information regarding their motivation to be active in a cluster and the benefits they derive from this.

The workshop will host presentations given by managers and experts of the cluster, under the leadership of Werner Pamminger, the general manager of Clusterland Upper Austria.

The Cluster Academy addresses the cluster managers and administrators, regional or national agencies, innovation agents or other public institutions that work with groups and would like to learn directly from experienced practitioners.

Topics such as "The importance of cluster management", "Cooperation projects as a source of innovation", "Knowledge management", "Internationalization", and "Financing a cluster organization" will be presented and discussed.
