Visit of the delegation from Kecskemet in Timisoara

On 23 March, 2010, the Hungarian delegation of AIPA and the Kecskemet College came to Timişoara, Romania.

The purpose of the visit was to create a possible cooperation between the Automotivest cluster and the Kecskemet cluster, in order to provide support for the development of suppliers and the provision of training services to enterprises in Romania and Hungary.

During the visit, the participants visited the headquarters of the Automotivest Association and the West Regional Development Agency in Timişoara, the HTEC Centre, and the Plastics Engineering Centre within the Politehnica University of Timişoara, as well as the company Mahle Componente de Motor.

On this visit, the Automotivest Association was invited to participate in the seminar called "Automation in the Factory", which will take place on 15 and 16 April, 2010, at the Kecskemet College, a member of the Hungarian automotive cluster. The conference aim is to set up a regulated forum where researchers and specialists in Hungarian and international institutes and industrial companies can present and discuss the latest developments in the field.
